For procrastinators and those who prefer to
sleep in on Black Friday, shipping gifts to out of town friends and family (or getting them under your own tree in time) can be a game of luck ... or exorbitant express shipping fees. To help you avoid a debacle that could ruin anyone's holiday cheer, one website lists hundreds of stores and all of their drop-dead deadlines for making sure your package arrives before Christmas.
Coupon Sherpa not only lists coupons for stores ranging from Nordstrom to Target, they have
compiled this list to help you place your holiday orders on time. Luke Knowles, who co-founded Coupon Sherpa with his brother, Jesse Knowles, says, "Different stores have different guidelines. Some will ship items as late as Dec. 20, for example, while others, such as merchants who make personalized gifts, require orders by Dec. 7-8."
Here are the dates you need to know for some of the most popular retailers:
Amazon

iPhone users can download the Coupon Sherpa application to access in-store coupons on the spot, and the website also lists
stores with free shipping. So between the money-saving coupons and important dates, even the most hardened procrastinators and anti-planners might want to stop by before a trip to the mall for an easy, money-saving game plan.
